Based in Durham
Hello! I'm a passionate 68-year-old potter running The Kiln & The Craft from the beautiful city of Durham. My journey with clay began just a few years ago, but my love for crafting and design spans a lifetime. I've always found joy in creating unique pieces, and pottery has become a truly rewarding expression of my artistic spirit. With my husband as my right-hand man, we work together to bring whimsy and creativity into every piece we craft. My mobility issues may pose challenges, but they haven't stopped my enthusiasm for this art form.
At The Kiln & The Craft, I believe that every piece we create tells a story. Whether it's a quirky mug or a decorative plant pot, each item is handmade with love and care, ensuring that it stands out. The time I spend shaping and moulding clay gives me immense satisfaction, and I take pride in sharing that joy with others.
